Initial Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on a clean, flat, stable surface away from edges.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and stickers from inside and outside the brewer.
  2. Wash the removable water reservoir and drip tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  3. Place the drip tray onto the base. Insert the cup stand if removed.
  4. Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water and slide it into place on the back of the brewer.
  5. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.

IMPORTANT! Perform a water-only brew cycle before first use to clean the internal lines. Do not use without water in the reservoir.

Brewing Your First Cup

Ensure the brewer is plugged in and the water reservoir is filled.

  1. Press the Power Button. The blue Power Light will illuminate. The brewer will heat up (approx. 90 seconds).
  2. Lift and lower the Brew Handle to open the K-Cup pod chamber.
  3. Place your desired K-Cup pod into the chamber. Close the handle firmly.
  4. Place a mug (minimum 6 oz) on the drip tray.
  5. Select your desired brew size (6, 8, 10, or 12 oz) by pressing the corresponding button. The brew will begin immediately.
  6. Your cup will fill with the selected amount. The brewer will stop automatically.
  7. To brew another cup, repeat steps 2-6. The brewer stays hot and ready.

TIP: For a stronger brew, select a smaller cup size for the same K-Cup pod.

Controls and Indicators

Front Panel: POWER Button, 6oz Button, 8oz Button, 10oz Button, 12oz Button, Power Indicator Light (Blue), Add Water Indicator Light (Red).

Brew Handle: Lift to open K-Cup pod chamber, lower to close and pierce pod.

Indicator Lights: Solid Blue = Ready. Flashing Blue = Heating. Solid Red = Add Water. Flashing Red = Descale Alert.

Brew Size Selection: Press desired size button after placing mug. The selected button will light up during brew.

Care & Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and taste.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with a damp cloth. Empty and rinse the drip tray and cup stand.
  2. Weekly: Remove, wash, and dry the water reservoir. Wipe the inside of the reservoir compartment.
  3. Monthly: Clean the brew needle. Unplug brewer, lift handle, and use a paperclip to gently clear any coffee grounds from the upper and lower needles.
  4. As Needed: Descale when the Add Water light flashes red or performance declines (see Descaling section).

WARNING! Unplug the brewer before cleaning. Never immerse the base, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.

Descaling Procedure

Descaling removes mineral buildup from hard water. Perform every 3-6 months or when prompted.

  1. Fill the reservoir with 48 oz of white vinegar or Keurig Descaling Solution.
  2. Place a large mug (at least 16 oz) on the drip tray.
  3. Press and hold the 8oz and 12oz buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter descale mode. All lights will flash.
  4. Press the 12oz button to start a descaling brew cycle. Repeat until the ADD WATER light comes on.
  5. Discard the mug contents after each cycle.
  6. Empty and thoroughly rinse the reservoir. Fill with fresh water.
  7. Press the 12oz button to run water-only rinse cycles. Repeat until vinegar smell is gone (approx. 12 cycles).
  8. Exit descale mode by pressing the POWER button. The brewer is ready for normal use.

CAUTION! Use only approved descaling solutions or white vinegar. Rinse thoroughly.

Energy Saving Features

Auto-Off: The brewer automatically powers down 90 seconds after the last brew cycle, saving energy. Press the POWER button to wake it; it will re-heat in about 90 seconds.

Power Down: To turn off completely, press and hold the POWER button for 3 seconds, or unplug the unit.

Troubleshooting
