Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level, stable surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside the brewer.
  2. Wash the removable water reservoir and drip tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  3. Place the drip tray in position. Adjust height if using a tall mug.
  4. Insert the water reservoir into the back of the brewer until it clicks into place.
  5. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Ensure the brewer is placed away from edges and heat sources. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewer before first use to ensure optimal performance.

  1. Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water up to the MAX fill line.
  2. Place a large mug (at least 12 oz) on the drip tray.
  3. Press the POWER button. The button will illuminate.
  4. Without inserting a K-Cup pod, lift and close the brewer handle.
  5. Press the 12 oz brew button. The brewer will run water through the system. Discard this water.
  6. Repeat this priming process 2-3 times until the water runs clear.
  7. Your brewer is now ready for normal use.

CAUTION! Do not use the brewer without water. The heating element can be damaged.

Front Panel: POWER button, 6 oz button, 8 oz button, 10 oz button, 12 oz button.

Operation Sequence:

  1. Press POWER. Button lights up. Brewer heats up (approx. 3 minutes).
  2. Lift handle, insert a K-Cup pod, close handle firmly.
  3. Place mug on drip tray.
  4. Press desired brew size button. Brewing begins.
  5. Brew cycle completes automatically. The POWER light remains on.
  6. To brew another cup, repeat steps 2-4.
  7. Press POWER button to turn brewer off. Auto-off will engage after 90 seconds of inactivity.

Descale Indicator: A solid or flashing light indicates it's time to descale the brewer.

Brewing Guide

For best results, follow these steps every time you brew.

  1. Always use fresh, cold water. Do not use distilled or softened water.
  2. Fill reservoir to desired level, not exceeding MAX line.
  3. Choose your favorite K-Cup pod. Check expiration date.
  4. Ensure drip tray is properly positioned and empty.
  5. Select brew size based on your taste and mug size:
    • 6 oz: Stronger, more intense flavor.
    • 8-10 oz: Standard coffee strength.
    • 12 oz: Lighter, milder cup.
  6. For iced coffee, brew a smaller size (6 or 8 oz) over a full cup of ice.

Tip: Run a cleansing brew (without a pod) periodically to refresh the system.

Cleaning & Descaling

Regular cleaning ensures great taste and extends brewer life.

Daily Cleaning: Wipe exterior with damp cloth. Empty and rinse drip tray and water reservoir.

Weekly Cleaning: Remove the water reservoir and drip tray. Wash with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly. Wipe the needle in the K-Cup holder with a paperclip or similar tool to clear any coffee grounds.

Descaling (Every 3-6 months):

  1. Mix Keurig Descaling Solution with full reservoir of water.
  2. Place a large mug on drip tray.
  3. Press POWER, then press 12 oz button without a pod.
  4. Repeat until "Add Water" light comes on. Discard all water from mug.
  5. Rinse reservoir, fill with fresh water, and run multiple 12 oz cycles until reservoir is empty to rinse.

WARNING! Use only Keurig Descaling Solution or approved white vinegar solution. Do not use other chemicals.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug before any maintenance. Store in a dry place.

CAUTION! The exterior surface may become hot during operation. Handle with care.
