Initial Setup & Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a clean, level, stable surface away from edges.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and stickers from inside and outside the brewer.
  2. Wash the water reservoir and lid with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  3. Place the brewer on a stable counter near a grounded electrical outlet.
  4. Fill the reservoir with fresh, cold water and reattach it to the brewer.
  5. Plug the power cord into a 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Ensure the brewer is on a heat-resistant surface away from water sources.

First Use & Priming

Power on the brewer; the display will light up. Follow priming steps before first brew.

  1. Lift and close the handle to pierce a K-Cup pod (no pod needed for priming).
  2. Place a large mug (at least 12 oz.) on the drip tray.
  3. Select the 12 oz. brew size and press the brew button. The brewer will run water through the system.
  4. Repeat this process 2-3 times with fresh water to prime the system fully.
  5. The brewer is now ready for use. Discard the water from the mug.

CAUTION! Water will be hot. Do not touch during priming. Ensure the reservoir is full.

Control Panel: POWER button, Brew Size buttons (4,6,8,10,12 oz.), STRONG button, ICED button, HOT WATER button, MENU button.

LCD Display: Shows time, selected brew size, settings, and alerts (e.g., Add Water, Descale).

Settings Menu (press MENU): Program Clock, Set Auto On/Off times (up to 24 hrs in advance), Set Energy Saving mode (30 min to 5 hrs), Brightness control, Factory Reset.

Strong Brew: Increases temperature and extends brew time for fuller flavor. Iced Setting: Brews a concentrated amount over ice. Hot Water: Dispenses hot water (192°F) without a K-Cup pod.

Brewing Coffee

Supports all K-Cup pod varieties.

  1. Ensure the brewer is on and the reservoir is filled.
  2. Lift the handle and insert a K-Cup pod. Close the handle firmly.
  3. Place a mug on the drip tray (adjust height if needed).
  4. Select your brew size (4,6,8,10,12 oz.). For bolder coffee, press STRONG before brewing.
  5. For iced coffee, press ICED, then select brew size (recommended 8 or 10 oz.). Fill your cup with ice first.
  6. Press the BREW button. Brewing will begin and complete automatically.
  7. After brewing, lift the handle to eject the used pod into the storage compartment.

Tip: For best results, use filtered water and brew within 3 minutes of inserting the pod.

Using Hot Water Feature

Dispenses hot water for tea, soup, oatmeal, etc.

  1. Ensure the brewer is on and the reservoir has water.
  2. Place a heat-safe mug on the drip tray.
  3. Press the HOT WATER button. The button will illuminate.
  4. Select your desired water amount (6, 8, 10, or 12 oz.).
  5. Press the BREW button. Hot water will dispense.
  6. The brewer will return to standby mode.

WARNING! Water is very hot (192°F). Keep hands and body clear. Do not use without a mug in place.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug the brewer and allow to cool before cleaning.

Daily: Wipe exterior with a damp, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.

Weekly: Remove and wash the water reservoir and lid in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry. Clean the drip tray and pod holder assembly. Wipe the needle area with a paper clip or needle cleaning tool (provided) to remove coffee grounds.

Monthly: Run a water-only brew cycle (without a pod) to flush the system. Consider using Keurig Descaling Solution every 3-6 months or when the descale indicator lights.

CAUTION! Never use vinegar to descale. Use only Keurig Descaling Solution or approved descaler.

Descaling

The descale indicator will illuminate when mineral buildup requires cleaning.

  1. Fill the reservoir with 16 oz. of Keurig Descaling Solution and 16 oz. of water.
  2. Place a large mug (at least 20 oz.) on the drip tray.
  3. Press MENU, navigate to DESCALE, and press BREW to start.
  4. The brewer will run solution through the system. Follow on-screen prompts.
  5. When prompted, empty the mug, refill the reservoir with fresh water, and continue brewing water-only cycles to rinse (approx. 12 cycles).
  6. The process is complete when the descale indicator turns off.

Important: Do not interrupt the descaling process. Ensure you have time to complete all steps.

Troubleshooting
