Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside the brewer.
  2. Wash removable parts: reservoir, drip tray, and K-Cup holder with warm soapy water.
  3. Insert charcoal water filter into reservoir (soak filter 5 minutes first).
  4. Fill reservoir with cold water and place back on brewer.
  5. Plug power cord into 120V outlet.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Ensure brewer is on a heat-resistant surface away from edges.

First-Time Use

Prime the system before first brew.

  1. Power on: Press POWER button; display will light up.
  2. Prime: Without a K-Cup, place a mug, select largest brew size (12 oz.) and start brew cycle. Repeat 3 times.
  3. Set clock: Use +/- buttons to adjust time on display.
  4. Set auto on/off: Press PROGRAM to set automatic start/stop times.
  5. Brew first cup: Insert K-Cup, select brew size, and press brew button.

CAUTION! Water will be hot. Keep hands clear during brew cycle.

Brewing Coffee

For hot coffee, iced coffee, or strong brew.

  1. Power on: Ensure brewer is on and ready light is solid.
  2. Lift handle: Insert K-Cup pod into holder, close handle firmly.
  3. Place mug: On drip tray (remove for travel mugs).
  4. Select brew size: Press desired oz. button.
  5. Optional: Press STRONG for bolder coffee or ICED for iced coffee setting.
  6. Start brew: Press same brew size button again to begin.
  7. Remove pod: After brewing, lift handle to eject used K-Cup.

Tip: For stronger coffee, use STRONG setting or smaller brew size.

Hot Water Feature

Dispenses hot water without a K-Cup pod.

  1. Ensure brewer is on and ready.
  2. Place cup or container under spout.
  3. Press HOT WATER button.
  4. Select desired water amount (4-12 oz).
  5. Press HOT WATER again to start dispensing.

WARNING! Water is near boiling. Use caution.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance.

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning. Never immerse brewer in water.
