Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface away from heat sources and water.

  1. Remove packaging materials and stickers.
  2. Wash water reservoir and drip tray with warm, soapy water; rinse thoroughly.
  3. Place drip tray in position; insert water reservoir firmly into back of brewer.
  4. Plug power cord into 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Ensure brewer is on a dry, stable surface.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewer before first use.

  1. Fill water reservoir with fresh, cold water to MAX line.
  2. Place a large mug on drip tray.
  3. Lift and close handle without inserting a K-Cup pod.
  4. Select largest brew size (12 oz) and press BREW button to run water through system.
  5. Repeat process 2-3 times to prime.
  6. Brewer is now ready for first cup.

CAUTION! Water will be hot. Keep hands clear during brew cycle.

Controls and Settings

Control Panel: POWER button, BREW button, STRONG button, ICED button, HOT WATER button, Brew Size buttons (4,6,8,10,12 oz), MENU button.

Menu Settings: Press MENU to access: Auto On (set time), Auto Off (2 hr default), Clock Set, Descaling mode, Factory Reset.

Brew Temperature: Adjustable via STRONG setting. Clock: Set 12/24 hour format. Energy Saver: Auto-off after 2 hours (adjustable).

Brewing Coffee

For hot coffee using K-Cup pods.

  1. Ensure water reservoir is filled.
  2. Place mug on drip tray.
  3. Lift handle, insert K-Cup pod, close handle firmly.
  4. Select brew size (4-12 oz).
  5. For stronger coffee, press STRONG button before brewing.
  6. Press BREW button; cycle completes in under 1 minute.
  7. For iced coffee: Press ICED button, fill mug with ice to line, brew over ice.

Tip: Use filtered water for better tasting coffee and to reduce mineral buildup.

Hot Water on Demand

Dispenses hot water for tea, cocoa, oatmeal, etc.

  1. Place mug on drip tray.
  2. Press HOT WATER button.
  3. Select desired water amount (4-12 oz).
  4. Press BREW to dispense.
  5. No K-Cup pod required.

WARNING! Water is near boiling. Use caution.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Weekly cleaning recommended.

  1. Unplug brewer and let cool.
  2. Remove and wash water reservoir, lid, and drip tray in warm, soapy water.
  3. Wipe exterior with damp cloth; do not immerse in water.
  4. Clean needle: Use paper clip to clear pod holder entry needle (unplugged).
  5. Run water-only brew cycle monthly to flush system.

CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners or immerse brewer in water.

Descaling

Descale when indicator light appears or every 3-6 months.

  1. Fill reservoir with descaling solution or white vinegar/water mix.
  2. Place large container on drip tray.
  3. Press MENU, navigate to DESCALE, press BREW to start.
  4. Follow on-screen prompts to complete descaling cycle.
  5. Rinse by running multiple water-only brew cycles until vinegar smell is gone.

Important: Descaling is essential for performance and warranty.
