Setup & Installation

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on a clean, level, and stable surface away from edges.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and stickers from the brewer and carafe.
  2. Wash the carafe, lid, and ground coffee filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Place the brewer on a stable counter near a grounded electrical outlet.
  4. Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water and slide it into place.
  5. Plug the power cord into a 120V outlet.

WARNING! Ensure the brewer is on a heat-resistant surface. Keep away from children and pets during operation.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewing system before first use to remove any manufacturing residues.

  1. Ensure the water reservoir is filled and properly seated.
  2. Place a large mug (at least 10 oz.) on the drip tray.
  3. Press the POWER button to turn the brewer on.
  4. Lift and close the K-Cup pod holder without inserting a pod.
  5. Select the 12 oz. brew size and press BREW. Discard the water.
  6. Repeat this process 2-3 times with fresh water until the water runs clear.
  7. Your brewer is now ready for use.

CAUTION! Do not use the carafe or consume the water from the priming cycles.

Controls and Settings

Access all functions via the LCD Control Panel and physical buttons.

Control Panel: POWER, BREW, STRONG, HOT WATER, PROGRAM, CLOCK SET, CARAFE, CUP SIZE (6, 8, 10, 12 oz).

Settings: Clock - Set time for programming. Program - Set auto-brew time for carafe. Strong Brew - Activates stronger coffee flavor. Hot Water - Dispenses hot water without coffee. Cup Size - Select single cup brew volume. Carafe - Selects carafe brewing mode.

Brewing a Single Cup

Use K-Cup pods for a quick, single serving.

  1. Press POWER to turn brewer on.
  2. Lift the K-Cup pod holder handle and insert a K-Cup pod. Close firmly.
  3. Place a mug on the drip tray.
  4. Select your desired cup size (6, 8, 10, or 12 oz.) using the CUP SIZE button.
  5. (Optional) Press STRONG for a bolder brew.
  6. Press BREW. Brewing will begin and complete automatically.
  7. Remove mug when finished. The brewer will turn off after 2 hours of inactivity.

Tip: For best results, use fresh, cold water and a clean mug.

Brewing a Carafe

Brew a full carafe using ground coffee for multiple servings.

  1. Press POWER to turn brewer on.
  2. Press the CARAFE button to select carafe mode.
  3. Remove the water reservoir and fill with fresh, cold water to the desired carafe line (up to 12 cups).
  4. Place the ground coffee filter into the filter basket. Add ground coffee (1 tbsp per cup).
  5. Place the empty carafe on the warming plate.
  6. (Optional) Press STRONG for a bolder carafe brew.
  7. Press BREW. Brewing will begin and complete automatically.
  8. When brewing is finished, the carafe will remain on the warming plate for up to 2 hours.

WARNING! The carafe and warming plate will be hot. Use the handle and avoid contact with hot surfaces.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and coffee flavor.

Daily: Empty and rinse the carafe and ground coffee filter. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.

Weekly/Monthly: Descale the brewer using Keurig Descaling Solution or white vinegar solution. Clean the K-Cup pod holder and needle. Wash the water reservoir and drip tray.

CAUTION! Always unplug the brewer and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Never immerse the brewer base, cord, or plug in water.
