Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials from inside and outside brewer.
  2. Wash carafe and lid with warm, soapy water; rinse thoroughly.
  3. Insert charcoal water filter into reservoir: Soak filter 5 minutes, rinse, insert into holder.
  4. Fill reservoir with fresh water and place back on brewer.
  5. Plug into 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Ensure brewer is unplugged during setup. Handle glass carafe with care.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewer before first brew.

  1. Power on: Press POWER button; lights will illuminate.
  2. Prime brewing system: Without K-Cup, place mug on drip tray, select largest cup size (10oz), press brew button to run water through system.
  3. Repeat priming 2-3 times with fresh water.
  4. For carafe: Fill with water only (no coffee), place empty carafe on warming plate, press CARAFE button to run water through.
  5. Discard all water from priming cycles.

CAUTION! Do not use without priming. Hot water may splash during priming.

Controls and Settings

Control Panel: POWER, SINGLE-SERVE button, CARAFE button, STRENGTH button (carafe), PROGRAM button.

Indicator Lights: Power (white), Single-Serve (blue), Carafe (green), Descaling Alert (red).

Settings: Program brew time via PROGRAM button. Set auto-off: Hold PROGRAM for 3 seconds, select 2hr/4hr/off. Brew strength for carafe: Press STRENGTH for bold or regular. Single-serve size: Press SINGLE-SERVE repeatedly to cycle 6oz→8oz→10oz.

Brewing Options

Single-Serve with K-Cup:

  1. Lift handle, insert K-Cup, close handle firmly.
  2. Place mug on drip tray (min 5oz capacity).
  3. Select cup size (6oz, 8oz, 10oz).
  4. Press SINGLE-SERVE button; brewing begins.

Carafe with Ground Coffee:

  1. Remove water reservoir, fill to desired cup level.
  2. Place #4 paper filter in basket, add ground coffee (1 tbsp per cup).
  3. Insert basket, place empty carafe on warming plate.
  4. Press CARAFE button; select strength if desired.
  5. Brewing completes automatically; carafe keeps warm for 2 hours.

Tip: Use filtered water for better taste. Preheat mug with hot water.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth. Empty drip tray and used pod holder.

Weekly: Wash removable parts (reservoir, drip tray, pod holder, carafe) with warm, soapy water.

Monthly: Replace charcoal water filter (every 2 months or 60 tank refills).

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning. Do not immerse brewer in water.

Descaling Procedure

Descale every 3-6 months or when DESCALE light illuminates.

  1. Mix Keurig descaling solution with 16oz water (or white vinegar alternative).
  2. Pour into empty reservoir.
  3. Place large mug or carafe on drip tray.
  4. Press POWER to turn on (if off).
  5. Press and hold SINGLE-SERVE and CARAFE buttons for 3 seconds to start descale mode.
  6. Press SINGLE-SERVE button to begin brewing; repeat until reservoir empty.
  7. Rinse reservoir, fill with fresh water, repeat brewing cycles 3-5 times to rinse.
