Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a clean, level, heat-resistant surface near an outlet.

Remove all packaging materials and stickers.
Wash the carafe, lid, and ground coffee filter basket with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
Place the empty carafe on the warming plate.
Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water and slide it into place.
Plug the power cord into a 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Ensure the brewer is on a stable surface away from edges. Keep cord away from hot surfaces.

First-Time Use

Prime the system before first brew to clear any internal air pockets.

With the water reservoir filled, ensure no K-Cup pod or ground coffee is inserted.
Place a large mug (at least 12 oz) or the empty carafe under the brew head.
Press the POWER button. The display will light up.
Select the HOT WATER function and dispense a full reservoir of water through the system. Discard this water.
The brewer is now ready for normal use.

CAUTION! The first brew cycle will produce hot water and steam. Keep hands and face clear.

Controls and Settings

Brewing Methods

Brewing a Single Cup with a K-Cup Pod:

Press POWER. Lift and lower the brew handle to open the K-Cup pod holder.
Insert a K-Cup pod. Close the handle firmly.
Place a mug (minimum 6 oz) on the drip tray.
Select your desired brew size (6, 8, 10, or 12 oz). The button will light up.
Press the illuminated brew size button to start brewing.

Brewing a Carafe with Ground Coffee:

Press POWER. Ensure the carafe is empty and placed on the warming plate.
Insert the ground coffee filter basket into the brew basket area.
Add ground coffee (1 tbsp per cup). Do not exceed 12 cups worth.
Close the brew basket lid.
Press the BREW button. The full carafe will begin brewing.

Tip: Use the STRONG BREW button before starting either method for a more intense flavor.

Programming & Customization

Setting the Clock: Press and hold PROGRAM for 3 seconds. Use the 6oz/12oz buttons to adjust hours/minutes. Press PROGRAM to save.

Setting Auto Brew (Carafe):

Press PROGRAM once. "PROG" will flash.
Use 6oz/12oz to set the hour, then press PROGRAM.
Use 6oz/12oz to set the minute, then press PROGRAM.
Ensure the water reservoir is full, ground coffee is loaded, and the carafe is in place. The brewer will start automatically at the set time.

Strong Brew: Press STRONG BREW before selecting your brew size or pressing BREW. The light will turn on.

Auto-Off: Press AUTO OFF to toggle the 2-hour auto-shutoff feature on or off.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug the brewer and allow it to cool before cleaning.

Daily: Wipe exterior with a damp cloth. Empty and rinse the water reservoir. Wash the carafe and lid.
Weekly: Run a cleansing brew cycle with fresh water (no pod/coffee). Clean the K-Cup pod holder and needle with a paperclip to remove coffee grounds.
Descaling: Perform when the DESCALE light illuminates. Use Keurig Descaling Solution or a vinegar-water solution as per manual instructions. Run multiple water-only cycles afterward to rinse.

CAUTION! Do not immerse the brewer base, cord, or plug in water. Use only approved descaling solutions.

Troubleshooting
