Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface near power outlet.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside the brewer.
  2. Wash removable parts: Clean water reservoir and drip tray with warm, soapy water.
  3. Fill water reservoir: Insert into back of brewer, fill with fresh water.
  4. Plug into AC power outlet.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Ensure brewer is on stable surface away from heat sources.

First-Time Setup

Power on brewer; follow priming steps.

  1. Prime the brewer: Place a large mug, press power, select largest cup size without K-Cup to flush system.
  2. Set clock: Use control panel to set current time (if applicable).
  3. Program auto-off: Set desired auto-off time (2 hours default).
  4. Set brew temperature: Adjust via settings menu if available.

CAUTION! First brew may contain manufacturing residues; discard first few brews.

Access settings via control panel buttons. Front Panel: POWER, CUP SIZE (6oz, 8oz, 10oz, 12oz), STRENGTH, AUTO OFF.

Brewing Coffee

Brews K-Cup pods or ground coffee using My K-Cup filter.

  1. For K-Cup: Lift handle, insert K-Cup, close handle, place mug, select size, press brew.
  2. For ground coffee: Insert My K-Cup filter, add ground coffee (max 1 tbsp), close handle, brew.
  3. Brew strength: Press STRENGTH button before brewing for stronger coffee.
  4. Pause & pour: Press PAUSE button to stop brew mid-cycle if mug is full.

Tip: Preheat mug with hot water for hotter coffee. Use filtered water for better taste.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth. Weekly: Clean water reservoir and drip tray. Monthly: Clean brew assembly and needle.

  1. Unplug brewer before cleaning.
  2. Remove and wash water reservoir, drip tray, K-Cup holder in warm, soapy water.
  3. Clean brew needle: Use paper clip to clear clog (power off, unplug first).
  4. Run water-only brew cycles to flush system.

CAUTION! Do not immerse brewer in water. Never use abrasive cleaners.

Descaling Process

Descale when DESCALE light illuminates or every 3-6 months.

  1. Prepare solution: Mix Keurig descaling solution with water or use vinegar solution.
  2. Fill reservoir with descaling solution.
  3. Run brew cycles without K-Cup until reservoir is empty.
  4. Rinse: Fill with fresh water, run multiple brew cycles to flush.
  5. Reset descale light: Hold 8oz and 10oz buttons for 3 seconds.
