Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a clean, stable, and level surface near a power outlet.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside the brewer.
  2. Wash the water reservoir and drip tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  3. Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water and place it back onto the brewer.
  4. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.
  5. Place a large mug on the drip tray.

WARNING! Do not use the brewer without water in the reservoir. Ensure the brewer is on a heat-resistant surface away from edges.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewing system before first use to ensure optimal performance.

  1. Power on the brewer. The power button will illuminate.
  2. Lift and close the brewer handle (without a K-Cup pod) to run water through the system.
  3. Select the largest brew size. Press the brew button to start a cleansing brew cycle.
  4. Discard the water from the mug. Repeat this process 2-3 times with fresh water.
  5. Your brewer is now ready for use with K-Cup pods.

CAUTION! The water and brewed beverage will be hot. Handle with care to avoid burns.

Controls and Settings

Access functions via the control panel buttons. Front Panel: POWER, BREW SIZE (Small, Medium, Large), HOT WATER (if available).

Indicator Lights: Power On, Heating, Ready to Brew, Add Water, Descaling Alert.

Settings: Brew strength control (on select models), Auto-off timing (adjustable in some models: 2hrs default), Temperature control (on select models).

Brewing Instructions

Brews coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and other beverages using K-Cup pods.

  1. Ensure the brewer is powered on and the "Ready" light is illuminated.
  2. Lift the handle and place a K-Cup pod in the pod holder. Close the handle firmly.
  3. Place your mug on the drip tray.
  4. Select your desired brew size by pressing the corresponding button.
  5. Press the BREW button. Brewing will begin and complete automatically.
  6. After brewing, lift the handle to eject the used pod into the storage compartment (if equipped).

Tip: For a stronger brew, select a smaller cup size. Pre-warming your mug with hot water can improve temperature retention.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures best performance and taste.

  1. Exterior: Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.
  2. Drip Tray & Reservoir: Remove and wash weekly with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry.
  3. Pod Holder Assembly: Lift the handle and wipe the needle and funnel area with a damp cloth to remove coffee grounds.
  4. Descaling: Perform when the "Descale" light illuminates or every 3-6 months. See Descaling Procedure.

CAUTION! Always unplug the brewer and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Never use vinegar to descale; use Keurig Descaling Solution or approved alternative.

Descaling Procedure

Mineral buildup from water can affect performance. The "Descale" light will indicate when it's needed.

  1. Purchase Keurig Descaling Solution or an approved citric acid-based descaler.
  2. Empty and rinse the water reservoir.
  3. Fill the reservoir with the entire bottle of descaling solution, then top off with water to the MAX fill line.
  4. Place a large mug (at least 16oz) on the drip tray.
  5. Press the POWER button to turn the brewer off, then press and hold the 10oz and 12oz brew buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter descale mode (process may vary by model).
  6. Follow the on-screen prompts or indicator lights. The brewer will run multiple brew cycles without a pod.
  7. After the solution tank is empty, rinse the reservoir thoroughly and refill with fresh water.
  8. Run multiple brew cycles with just water (no pod) until the reservoir is empty to rinse the system.
  9. The descale light will turn off when the process is complete.

Troubleshooting
