Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a clean, stable, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials and stickers from brewer.
  2. Wash water reservoir with warm, soapy water; rinse thoroughly.
  3. Insert water reservoir into back of brewer until it clicks into place.
  4. Plug power cord into a 120V AC outlet.
  5. Fill reservoir with fresh, cold water.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Ensure brewer is on a heat-resistant surface away from edges.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewing system before first brew.

  1. Press POWER button to turn brewer on; display will show "HEATING".
  2. Wait until "READY" appears (approx. 3 minutes).
  3. Place a large mug on drip tray.
  4. Lift and close handle without inserting a K-Cup pod.
  5. Select 10 oz brew size; allow full cycle to run (water only).
  6. Repeat process 2-3 times to prime system.

CAUTION! Water will be hot. Keep hands clear during brew cycle.

Front Panel: POWER button, 6 oz, 8 oz, 10 oz brew buttons, Display screen, Descaling indicator light.

Display Messages: "HEATING" (warming up), "READY" (ready to brew), "ADD WATER" (low water), "DESCALE" (needs descaling).

Operation: Press POWER to turn on; select brew size after "READY" appears. Auto-off activates after 2 hours of inactivity (can be disabled in some models via settings).

Brewing Coffee

Brews single servings using K-Cup pods.

  1. Ensure brewer is on and "READY" is displayed.
  2. Lift handle to open brew chamber.
  3. Insert K-Cup pod (any licensed brand).
  4. Close handle firmly.
  5. Place mug on drip tray (remove tray for travel mugs).
  6. Press desired brew size button (6, 8, or 10 oz).
  7. Brewing begins; cycle completes automatically.
  8. To brew another cup, repeat steps 2-6.

Tip: For stronger coffee, use 6 oz setting with any pod. Run a water-only cycle between different pod types to avoid flavor mixing.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance.

  1. Exterior: Wipe with damp cloth; do not immerse in water.
  2. Drip Tray & Reservoir: Remove and wash with warm, soapy water weekly.
  3. Needle: Unplug brewer; use paper clip to clear any pod debris from exit needle.
  4. Descaling: Perform every 3-6 months or when indicator lights.

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning. Never use sharp objects inside brew chamber.

Descaling

Removes mineral buildup from water reservoir and internal lines.

  1. Purchase Keurig Descaling Solution or approved white vinegar.
  2. Empty water reservoir; fill with descaling solution or equal parts vinegar/water.
  3. Place large mug on drip tray.
  4. Press POWER, then press and hold 6 oz and 10 oz buttons for 3 seconds to enter descale mode.
  5. Follow on-screen prompts; run multiple brew cycles until reservoir is empty.
  6. Rinse reservoir thoroughly; fill with fresh water and run several water-only cycles to rinse system.

WARNING! Descaling solution/vinegar is not for consumption. Ensure thorough rinsing.
