Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials and stickers.
  2. Wash removable parts: Drip tray and water reservoir with warm, soapy water.
  3. Fill water reservoir with fresh water and place back into brewer.
  4. Plug into 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Ensure brewer is on a heat-resistant surface away from edges.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewer before first use.

  1. Power on: Press POWER button; lights will illuminate.
  2. Prime system: Without K-Cup pod, lift and close handle, place mug, press BREW button for 10 oz size. Repeat until reservoir is empty.
  3. Refill reservoir with fresh water.
  4. Insert K-Cup pod, select brew size, and brew first cup.

CAUTION! Water may be hot during priming. Keep hands clear of outlet.

Front panel: POWER button, Brew size buttons (6, 8, 10 oz), BREW button, Descaling indicator.

Operation: Press POWER to turn on (blue light). Select brew size (button lights up). Place mug, insert K-Cup, close handle, press BREW.

Settings: Auto-off cannot be disabled. Descaling indicator lights when maintenance required.

Brewing Coffee

Follow these steps for optimal brewing.

  1. Power on brewer; wait for ready light.
  2. Fill water reservoir with fresh, cold water.
  3. Place mug on drip tray.
  4. Lift handle, insert K-Cup pod, close handle firmly.
  5. Select brew size (6, 8, or 10 oz).
  6. Press BREW button; brewing completes in under a minute.
  7. Remove mug; brewer auto-offs after 90 seconds.

Tip: For stronger coffee, use 6 oz setting or brew into smaller mug.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures performance and longevity.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth; empty drip tray and wash.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash water reservoir; clean needle with paperclip.
  3. Monthly: Run vinegar solution through brew cycle (see Descaling).

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning. Never immerse brewer in water.

Descaling Procedure

Descale every 3-6 months or when indicator lights.

  1. Mix descaling solution or white vinegar with equal parts water.
  2. Fill reservoir with solution.
  3. Place large mug on drip tray.
  4. Press POWER, then press and hold 6 oz and 10 oz buttons for 3 seconds to enter descale mode.
  5. Press BREW to start cycle; repeat until reservoir empty.
  6. Rinse by brewing 2-3 reservoirs of fresh water.

WARNING! Use only Keurig descaling solution or vinegar. Rinse thoroughly.
