Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Place on a clean, level, stable surface away from heat sources and water.

  1. Remove packaging materials from inside and outside the brewer.
  2. Wash the water reservoir with warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry.
  3. Insert the water filter (optional): Soak filter for 5 minutes, rinse, and place in filter holder.
  4. Fill the reservoir with fresh, cold water and place it back on the brewer.
  5. Plug the power cord into a 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Ensure the brewer is unplugged during cleaning.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewer before first use to ensure optimal performance.

  1. Press the Power button to turn on the brewer. The Add Water light may illuminate.
  2. Lift and close the brewer handle (without a K-Cup pod) to puncture the K-Cup holder.
  3. Place a large mug (10 oz or more) on the drip tray.
  4. Select the largest brew size (10 oz) and press the Brew button to run water through the system. Repeat 3 times.
  5. The brewer is now ready for use.

CAUTION! Use only cold, fresh water. Do not use distilled or sparkling water.

Controls and Functions

Front Panel: Power Button, Brew Button, 6/8/10 oz Brew Size Buttons, Add Water Indicator, Descaling Indicator.

Operation: Press Power to turn on. Select brew size (6, 8, or 10 oz). Lift handle, insert K-Cup pod, close handle, place mug, press Brew. The brewer heats water, pierces the pod, and brews coffee into your mug.

Auto-Off: Brewer turns off 90 seconds after last brew to save energy. Add Water Light: Illuminates when reservoir is empty or low. Descale Light: Flashes when mineral buildup requires descaling.

Brewing Coffee

Follow these steps for optimal coffee brewing.

  1. Ensure the brewer is on and the Add Water light is off.
  2. Lift the handle and insert a K-Cup pod into the K-Cup holder.
  3. Close the handle firmly.
  4. Place a mug on the drip tray.
  5. Select your desired brew size (6, 8, or 10 oz).
  6. Press the Brew button. Brewing begins and completes in under a minute.
  7. After brewing, lift the handle to eject the used K-Cup pod.

Tip: For stronger coffee, use the smallest brew size (6 oz) with a dark roast pod.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures best performance and longevity.

  1. Exterior: Wipe with a damp cloth. Do not immerse in water.
  2. Water Reservoir: Remove and wash with warm, soapy water weekly. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Drip Tray & K-Cup Holder: Remove and wash as needed.
  4. Needle: Unplug brewer, lift handle, and use a paper clip to clear any coffee grounds from the exit needle.

CAUTION! Always unplug the brewer before cleaning. Never use abrasive cleaners.

Descaling

Descale every 3-6 months or when the Descaling Indicator flashes.

  1. Purchase Keurig Descaling Solution or use a vinegar solution (1 part white vinegar to 3 parts water).
  2. Fill the reservoir with descaling solution.
  3. Place a large mug on the drip tray.
  4. Press Power, then Brew (without a K-Cup) to run solution through the brewer. Repeat until reservoir is empty.
  5. Rinse reservoir thoroughly, fill with fresh water, and run multiple brew cycles (without a K-Cup) to rinse the system.
  6. The Descaling Indicator will turn off after descaling is complete.

WARNING! Descaling is essential to prevent mineral buildup and maintain heating performance.
