Unpacking and Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level, heat-resistant surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and stickers.
  2. Wash removable parts: Reservoir, drip tray, and frother lid in warm soapy water.
  3. Place machine on counter away from edges, cabinets, and heat sources.
  4. Fill water reservoir with fresh cold water and reattach.
  5. Plug power cord into 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Ensure proper ventilation; keep away from children. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

First-Time Use

Power on machine; follow priming steps.

  1. Press POWER button; LCD will light up.
  2. Prime the system: Place large mug on drip tray, select 12 oz brew without a K-Cup pod.
  3. Repeat priming cycle 2-3 times until water runs clear.
  4. Insert K-Cup pod, select desired brew size and strength.
  5. For frother: Fill frother with milk up to MAX line, select hot or cold froth setting.

CAUTION! First brews may have slight odor; this is normal. Ensure mug is centered.

Access settings via control panel buttons and LCD display.

Control Panel: POWER, STRENGTH, BREW SIZE, LATTE/CAPPUCCINO, HOT/COLD FROTH, MENU/SETTINGS.

Brew Settings: Strength (Strong/Mild), Brew size selection, Temperature adjustment (via MENU). Frother Settings: Hot froth (for lattes), Cold froth (for iced drinks). System Settings: Auto-off time (0.5, 1, 2, 3 hrs), Water filter reminder, Descaling mode, Factory reset.

Brewing Coffee

For coffee or hot water brewing.

  1. Lift handle, insert K-Cup pod, close handle firmly.
  2. Place mug on drip tray.
  3. Select brew size (6, 8, 10, 12 oz).
  4. Press STRENGTH for Strong brew if desired.
  5. Press BREW button; brewing begins.
  6. For hot water only: Do not insert pod, select size, press BREW.

Tip: Preheat mug with hot water for optimal temperature. Use filtered water for better taste.

Using the Milk Frother

Creates froth for lattes and cappuccinos.

  1. Remove frother lid, pour cold milk up to MAX line (8 oz).
  2. Replace lid, attach frother to machine.
  3. Select HOT FROTH for lattes or COLD FROTH for iced drinks.
  4. Press LATTE/CAPPUCCINO button; frothing begins.
  5. When complete, pour frothed milk over brewed coffee.
  6. Clean frother immediately after use.

WARNING! Do not overfill frother. Use whole or 2% milk for best froth. Never run frother without milk.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth. Weekly: Wash removable parts. Monthly: Descale as needed.

  1. Unplug machine before cleaning.
  2. Remove and wash reservoir, drip tray, frother in warm soapy water.
  3. Wipe brew chamber with damp cloth.
  4. Descale when indicator lights: Use Keurig descaling solution or vinegar mixture.
  5. Run descale cycle per instructions.

CAUTION! Never immerse machine in water. Do not use harsh chemicals.
