Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level, stable surface near power outlet.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside brewer.
  2. Wash water reservoir and drip tray with warm, soapy water; rinse thoroughly.
  3. Insert drip tray into base; adjust height if using tall mug.
  4. Fill reservoir with fresh cold water; slide into back of brewer until it clicks.
  5. Plug power cord into 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use without water in reservoir. Ensure brewer is on a heat-resistant surface away from edges.

First-Time Use

Power on brewer; follow priming steps.

  1. Press POWER button; LCD will light up and brewer will begin heating.
  2. Lift and close brew handle without a K-Cup to prime system.
  3. Place a large mug on drip tray.
  4. Select largest brew size (10 oz) and press BREW to run water through system. Discard this water.
  5. Repeat once more to complete priming.
  6. Brewer is now ready for first K-Cup.

CAUTION! Water will be hot during priming. Keep hands clear of exit needle and brew chamber.

Controls and Settings

Control Panel: POWER button, Brew Size buttons (6, 8, 10 oz), LCD display, Descaling indicator light.

LCD Messages: HEATING, READY, BREWING, DESCALE, ADD WATER, AUTO OFF.

Settings Menu: Press and hold 6 oz and 8 oz buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter settings. Use brew buttons to scroll: Auto-Off time (90 sec, 5 min, disabled), Brew temperature (default hot), Factory reset.

To save setting, press POWER. To exit without saving, wait 10 seconds.

Brewing Guide

Brews using K-Cup pods only.

  1. Ensure brewer is ON and READY is displayed.
  2. Lift brew handle fully.
  3. Insert K-Cup into holder; close handle firmly.
  4. Place mug on drip tray.
  5. Press desired brew size button (6, 8, or 10 oz). Brewing begins immediately.
  6. When cycle completes, lift handle to eject used pod into drawer.
  7. For stronger brew, select smaller size (e.g., 6 oz for intense flavor).

Tip: Preheat mug with hot water for hotter beverage. Do not use reusable filters not approved by Keurig.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth. Weekly: Remove and wash reservoir and drip tray.

  1. Unplug brewer and allow to cool.
  2. Remove reservoir and drip tray; wash in warm, soapy water.
  3. Wipe brew chamber with damp cloth; do not insert objects into exit needle.
  4. Check exit needle for clogs; use paperclip gently if blocked (unplug first).
  5. Dry all parts before reassembly.

CAUTION! Never immerse brewer base, cord, or plug in water. Use only mild detergent.

Descaling Procedure

Descale when DESCALE light illuminates or every 3-6 months.

  1. Fill reservoir with 48 oz white vinegar or Keurig Descaling Solution.
  2. Place large mug on drip tray.
  3. Press POWER, then press and hold 6 oz and 10 oz buttons for 3 seconds to start descale mode.
  4. Press BREW repeatedly until reservoir is empty (about 12 cycles). Discard liquid each time.
  5. Rinse reservoir thoroughly; fill with fresh water.
  6. Repeat brewing cycles with fresh water until vinegar smell is gone (about 12 cycles).
  7. Descale light will turn off automatically.

WARNING! Use only approved descaling solutions. Do not use descaled water for drinking.
