Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a clean, stable, level surface.

  1. Choose Reservoir Position: Place the removable water reservoir on either the left or right side of the brewer base.
  2. Fill Reservoir: Remove reservoir, fill with fresh, cold water, and reattach. Do not exceed "MAX" fill line.
  3. Plug In: Connect the power cord to the brewer and a 120V AC outlet.
  4. Position Drip Tray: Ensure drip tray is properly seated. Remove for taller travel mugs.

WARNING! Place brewer away from edges and heat sources. Ensure power cord is not pinched.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewer before first use to ensure optimal performance.

  1. Power On: Press the POWER button. The blue light will illuminate.
  2. Prime the System: Without a K-Cup pod, place a mug on the drip tray, lower the handle, and press the 12 oz. brew button. Run water through the system until the reservoir is empty. Repeat with a second full reservoir.
  3. Insert K-Cup: Lift the handle, place a K-Cup pod in the pod holder, and close the handle firmly.
  4. Select Brew Size: Place your mug, choose your cup size (6, 8, 10, or 12 oz.), and press the BREW button.

CAUTION! Water and brewed beverage will be hot. Keep hands and face clear during brew cycle.

Controls and Operation

Front Panel Controls: POWER button (with blue light), 4 Brew Size buttons (6, 8, 10, 12 oz.), Descale Indicator Light.

Basic Operation: Press POWER to turn on (blue light). The brewer heats up in about 1 minute. Lift handle, insert K-Cup, close handle. Place mug. Select brew size. Press the illuminated brew button to start. The button light will flash during brewing and turn off when complete.

Energy Saver: Brewer automatically powers off 90 seconds after the last brew. Press POWER to wake.

Brewing Guide

For best results, use fresh, cold water and your preferred K-Cup pod.

  1. Ensure brewer is powered on and reservoir is filled.
  2. Lift the handle fully to open the K-Cup holder.
  3. Insert a K-Cup pod. The foil top should face upward.
  4. Close the handle firmly until it snaps into place.
  5. Place a mug (12 oz. max) on the drip tray. Remove drip tray for taller travel mugs.
  6. Select your desired brew size by pressing the corresponding button (6, 8, 10, or 12 oz.). The button will light up.
  7. Press the lit brew button to start. The button will flash during the brew cycle.
  8. When brewing is complete, the button light turns off. Lift the handle to eject the used pod.

Tip: For stronger coffee, use the smaller brew size buttons with the same K-Cup pod.

Maintenance & Descaling

Regular descaling maintains performance and extends brewer life. The DESCALING light will illuminate when required.

  1. Prepare Solution: Fill reservoir with 16 oz. of white vinegar and 16 oz. of water, or use Keurig Descaling Solution.
  2. Start Descaling: Place a large mug (at least 20 oz.) on the drip tray. Press and hold the 8 oz. and 10 oz. brew buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter descale mode.
  3. Run Solution: Press the BREW button repeatedly, pausing between presses, to run all solution through the brewer. Do not use a K-Cup pod.
  4. Rinse: Fill reservoir with fresh water. Run multiple brew cycles (without a K-Cup) until the vinegar smell is gone.

WARNING! Use only approved descaling solutions or white vinegar. Never use harsh chemicals.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug brewer and allow to cool before cleaning. Wipe exterior with a damp, soft cloth. Do not immerse in water.

Weekly: Remove and wash the drip tray and reservoir in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

Monthly: Clean the K-Cup needle puncture assembly with a paperclip to remove any coffee grounds or pod residue.

CAUTION! Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or submerge any part of the brewer base in liquid.

Troubleshooting
