Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a clean, stable, level surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside the unit.
  2. Wash the water reservoir and drip tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  3. Place the drip tray in position.
  4. Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water and reattach it to the brewer.
  5. Plug the power cord into a 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use the brewer without water in the reservoir. Keep away from heat sources and moisture.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewing system before first use.

  1. Ensure the water reservoir is filled and properly seated.
  2. Press the POWER button to turn on the brewer. The display will light up.
  3. Without a K-Cup pod, place a mug on the drip tray.
  4. Press and hold the 10oz brew button for 5 seconds to start a cleansing brew cycle. Discard the water.
  5. Repeat the cleansing cycle two more times to ensure the system is ready.
  6. The brewer is now ready for normal use.

CAUTION! The water and brewed beverage will be hot. Handle with care.

Brew Size Selection: Press desired button (6oz, 8oz, 10oz) after adding a K-Cup. Auto-off: Brewer turns off automatically after 2 hours of inactivity. Descaling Alert: Flashing icon indicates need for descaling. Temperature Control: Pre-set optimal brewing temperature (192°F).

Brewing Coffee

Use only Keurig-approved K-Cup pods.

  1. Press POWER to turn on. Wait for "Ready" light.
  2. Lift the handle to open the brew chamber.
  3. Insert a K-Cup pod. Close the handle firmly.
  4. Place a mug (at least 6oz capacity) on the drip tray.
  5. Press the desired brew size button (6oz, 8oz, 10oz). Brewing begins.
  6. The brew cycle completes automatically. Remove mug.
  7. To brew another cup, repeat steps 2-6.

Tip: For stronger coffee, use the 6oz setting with a dark roast pod.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with a damp cloth. Empty and rinse the drip tray.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash the water reservoir and drip tray in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Monthly: Clean the brew needle. Unplug brewer. Use a paperclip to gently clear any blockage in the upper and lower needles.
  4. As needed: Descale when the alert icon flashes (see Descaling Procedure).

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning. Do not immerse brewer in water.

Descaling Procedure

Descale every 3-6 months or when alert activates.

  1. Purchase Keurig Descaling Solution or use a vinegar-water mix (50/50).
  2. Fill the water reservoir with the descaling solution.
  3. Place a large mug on the drip tray.
  4. Press POWER, then press and hold the 6oz and 10oz buttons for 3 seconds to enter descale mode.
  5. Press the 10oz button to start the descaling cycle. Discard the solution from the mug.
  6. Refill the reservoir with fresh water. Run multiple 10oz brew cycles (without a K-Cup) until the reservoir is empty to rinse.
  7. The descaling alert will turn off. The brewer is ready for use.

WARNING! Follow solution instructions carefully. Rinse thoroughly to remove all residue.

Troubleshooting
