Setup & Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level, stable surface away from heat sources and water.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and stickers from brewer.
  2. Wash removable water reservoir and drip tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Place drip tray in position. Insert water reservoir firmly into back of brewer.
  4. Plug power cord into grounded 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Ensure hands are dry when handling plug. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.

First-Time Use

Power on brewer; follow priming steps before first brew.

  1. Fill water reservoir with fresh, cold water up to MAX line.
  2. Press POWER button to turn on. Machine will begin heating (light will blink).
  3. When READY light is solid, lift and close handle without a K-Cup pod.
  4. Place a large mug (at least 10 oz) on drip tray. Select largest cup size (10 oz) and press BREW.
  5. Allow full reservoir of water to run through machine into mug. Discard water.
  6. Brewer is now primed and ready for use.

CAUTION! Water and brewed coffee will be hot. Avoid contact with steam and hot surfaces.

Controls and Settings

Front Panel: POWER button, 6 oz button, 8 oz button, 10 oz button, BREW button, READY light, ADD WATER light.

Operation: Press POWER to turn on. READY light blinks during heating, stays solid when ready. Select cup size (6, 8, or 10 oz) before or after inserting K-Cup. Press BREW to start. ADD WATER light illuminates when reservoir is empty or not seated properly.

Settings: Auto-off is pre-set to 2 hours (not adjustable). To turn off manually, press and hold POWER button for 3 seconds.

Brewing Coffee

Brews single servings using K-Cup pods.

  1. Ensure brewer is on and READY light is solid.
  2. Lift handle to open brew chamber.
  3. Insert K-Cup pod (any variety). Close handle firmly.
  4. Place mug on drip tray.
  5. Select desired cup size (6, 8, or 10 oz). Button will light up.
  6. Press BREW button. Brewing begins immediately.
  7. When brewing completes, handle may be lifted to eject used pod into pod holder (if equipped) or remove manually.

Tip: For stronger coffee, use smaller cup size setting. Pre-warm mug with hot water for hotter coffee.

Cleaning & Descaling

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and taste.

Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth. Empty drip tray and pod holder (if present).

Weekly: Remove and wash water reservoir, drip tray, and pod holder in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.

Descaling (every 3-6 months):

  1. Fill reservoir with 16 oz white vinegar and 16 oz water.
  2. Place large mug on drip tray. Run brew cycle (without K-Cup) until reservoir is half empty.
  3. Turn off brewer and let solution sit in machine for 30 minutes.
  4. Turn on, complete brewing remaining solution. Discard liquid.
  5. Rinse reservoir thoroughly. Fill with fresh water and run multiple brew cycles (without K-Cup) until vinegar odor is gone.

WARNING! Unplug before cleaning exterior. Never immerse brewer in water.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug when not in use for extended periods. Store in dry place. Use only fresh, cold water in reservoir. Do not use distilled water. Regularly inspect power cord for damage.

CAUTION! Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. Do not operate without water reservoir properly seated.
