Installation & Setup

Brewing Coffee

Follow steps for optimal brewing.

  1. Power on: Press POWER; wait for READY light.
  2. Fill reservoir: Ensure adequate water level.
  3. Insert K-Cup: Lift handle, place pod in chamber, close firmly.
  4. Place cup: Set mug on drip tray (remove tray for travel mugs).
  5. Select size: Press CUP SIZE for desired volume.
  6. Optional: Press STRONG BREW for bolder coffee.
  7. Start brew: Press brew button; cycle completes in under 1 minute.
  8. Remove pod: Lift handle after brewing; discard used K-Cup.

Tip: Preheat mug with hot water for hotter coffee.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures performance and longevity.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth; empty drip tray and water reservoir.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash drip tray, reservoir, and K-Cup holder in warm soapy water.
  3. Monthly: Run water-only brew cycle (without pod) to flush system.
  4. As needed: Descale when indicator light illuminates.

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning. Do not immerse machine in water.

Descaling Procedure

Descale every 3-6 months or when light indicates.

  1. Prepare solution: Mix Keurig descaling solution or white vinegar with equal parts water.
  2. Fill reservoir: Pour solution into empty reservoir.
  3. Start descale: Press and hold 8oz + 10oz buttons for 5 seconds until DESCALE light flashes.
  4. Brew: Place large container on drip tray; press brew button to dispense solution.
  5. Rinse: Refill reservoir with fresh water; brew multiple cycles until vinegar smell dissipates.
  6. Reset: Descaling light will turn off automatically after completion.
