Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and stickers.
  2. Wash carafe, lid, and water reservoir with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Insert water filter (optional): Soak filter in water for 5 minutes, then place in filter holder in reservoir.
  4. Fill reservoir with fresh water and place back onto brewer.
  5. Plug into a grounded 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use without water in reservoir. Ensure brewer is on a heat-resistant surface away from edges.

First-Time Setup

Power on brewer; follow priming and programming steps.

  1. Prime the brewer: Place a large mug on drip tray, lift and close brew head (no pod), select 12oz brew size. Run 3 full reservoirs of water through to clean internal lines.
  2. Set clock: Press MENU, use arrows to set hour and minute, press SELECT to confirm.
  3. Program auto brew: Press MENU to PROGRAM, set time, select brew type (cup or carafe), press SELECT.
  4. Adjust settings: Use MENU to set auto-off time (0-2 hrs), brew temperature, strength control.

CAUTION! First brews may be hot; handle carafe and mug with care.

Controls and Settings

Access settings via MENU button and LCD display. Front Panel: POWER, BREW (CUP/CARAFE), HOT WATER, MENU, SELECT, Up/Down arrows.

LCD Display: Shows time, brew size, settings, alerts (DESCALE, ADD WATER).

Brew Settings: Select CUP or CARAFE, then choose size with arrows. Strength Control: Press STRENGTH during brew prep for stronger coffee. Program: Set auto brew time via MENU > PROGRAM. Hot Water: Dispenses hot water without pod. Settings Menu: Auto-off (0,1,2 hrs), brew temperature (MED/HIGH), clock set, factory reset.

Brewing Options

Brew single cup or full carafe.

  1. For single cup: Place mug on drip tray, lift brew head, insert K-Cup pod, close brew head. Select CUP, choose size (6-12oz), press BREW.
  2. For carafe: Place empty carafe on warming plate, lift brew head, insert K-Carafe pod, close. Select CARAFE, choose cups (4-12), press BREW.
  3. Using My K-Cup: Fill reusable filter with ground coffee, insert into brew head, close. Select CUP size and brew.
  4. Hot water: Place mug, press HOT WATER, dispenses hot water for other beverages.

Tip: For best taste, use filtered water and rinse carafe after each use.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Empty drip tray and rinse. Wash carafe and lid.
  2. Weekly: Remove and rinse water reservoir. Wipe exterior with damp cloth.
  3. Monthly: Clean brew head: lift, wipe with damp cloth. Descale when indicator lights.
  4. Water filter: Replace every 2 months or 60 tank refills.

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning. Do not immerse brewer in water.

Descaling Process

Descale when DESCALE indicator appears or every 3-6 months.

  1. Empty water reservoir and carafe.
  2. Fill reservoir with 16 oz white vinegar and 16 oz water.
  3. Place large mug on drip tray, lift brew head (no pod).
  4. Press HOT WATER button to start descale cycle. Repeat until ADD WATER light comes on.
  5. Rinse: Fill reservoir with fresh water, run multiple HOT WATER cycles until vinegar smell is gone.

WARNING! Use only vinegar or Keurig descaling solution. Do not use other chemicals.
