Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on a clean, flat, stable surface near a power outlet.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and stickers from the brewer.
  2. Wash the carafe, lid, and removable water reservoir with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  3. Place the drip tray in position. Ensure the water reservoir is securely inserted.
  4. Plug the power cord into a 120V AC outlet.
  5. Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water to the desired level.

WARNING! Do not use the brewer without water. Ensure the carafe is properly positioned before brewing.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewer before first use to ensure optimal performance.

  1. Fill the water reservoir to its maximum capacity.
  2. Place a large mug on the drip tray (without a K-Cup pod).
  3. Press the POWER button to turn on the brewer.
  4. Select the "Hot Water" function and run three full reservoirs of water through the brewer to clean the internal system.
  5. Discard the water. The brewer is now ready for normal use.

CAUTION! The hot water and heating plate can cause burns. Handle with care.

Controls and Settings

Control Panel: POWER, BREW STRENGTH, CUP SIZE, CARAFE, HOT WATER, PROGRAM, AUTO OFF.

Functions: POWER turns brewer on/off. BREW STRENGTH toggles between Bold and Regular. CUP SIZE selects single-serve volume. CARAFE initiates carafe brewing. HOT WATER dispenses hot water. PROGRAM sets auto-start time. AUTO OFF enables/disables 2-hour auto-off.

Settings: Program auto-start by pressing PROGRAM and using arrow buttons. Adjust brew strength before brewing. Enable/disable auto-off in settings menu.

Brewing Modes

Single-Serve Brewing (K-Cup Pod):

  1. Lift and lower the handle to open the K-Cup pod holder.
  2. Insert a K-Cup pod. Close the handle firmly.
  3. Place a mug on the drip tray.
  4. Select CUP SIZE (6, 8, 10, or 12 oz.).
  5. Press BREW. The brewer will start automatically.

Carafe Brewing (Ground Coffee):

  1. Place the ground coffee filter in the carafe brew basket. Add ground coffee.
  2. Insert the brew basket into the brewer. Place the empty carafe on the heating plate.
  3. Press CARAFE. Select brew size (4 to 12 cups).
  4. Press BREW. The carafe will begin filling.

Tip: For best results, use fresh, cold water and recommended coffee amounts.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with a damp cloth. Empty and rinse the drip tray.
  2. Weekly: Wash the carafe, lid, and water reservoir with warm, soapy water.
  3. Monthly: Clean the K-Cup pod holder and needle. Use a paperclip to clear any clogs.
  4. As Needed: Descale when the indicator light turns on (see Descaling section).

CAUTION! Unplug the brewer before cleaning. Do not immerse in water.

Descaling

Descaling removes mineral buildup from the internal water system.

  1. Prepare a descaling solution (Keurig descaling solution or white vinegar).
  2. Fill the water reservoir with the solution.
  3. Place a large container on the drip tray.
  4. Run the descaling cycle by pressing HOT WATER repeatedly until the reservoir is empty.
  5. Rinse thoroughly by running multiple reservoirs of fresh water through the brewer.

WARNING! Follow descaling instructions carefully. Rinse thoroughly to remove all solution residue.
