Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Choose Location: Place on a flat, stable surface near an electrical outlet and away from heat sources.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Wash the removable parts (water reservoir, drip tray) with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
  3. Install Water Filter: Soak charcoal filter for 5 minutes, then insert into filter handle and install in water reservoir.
  4. Fill Water Reservoir: Remove reservoir, fill with fresh cold water, and reattach to the brewer.
  5. Power Connection: Plug into a 120V, 60Hz grounded outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
  6. Prime the System: Turn on brewer and run several brew cycles without a K-Cup to flush the system.
  7. First Brew: Insert a K-Cup pod, place mug on drip tray, select cup size, and start your first brew.
Important: Always use the official Keurig water filter and descale your brewer every 3-6 months for optimal performance.

Troubleshooting

Common Error Indicators
