Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials from inside and outside brewer.
  2. Wash removable parts: Rinse water reservoir and drip tray with warm water.
  3. Place drip tray in position.
  4. Fill water reservoir with fresh cold water and reinsert.
  5. Plug power cord into 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Ensure brewer is on a heat-resistant surface away from edges.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewer before first brew.

  1. Press POWER button to turn on; wait for heating cycle (approx. 3 minutes).
  2. Place a mug on drip tray.
  3. Lift and close handle without inserting a K-Cup pod.
  4. Select largest brew size and press BREW button to run water through system.
  5. Repeat once with fresh water in reservoir.
  6. Brewer is now ready for use with K-Cup pods.

CAUTION! Water will be hot. Keep hands clear during brew cycle.

Operation: Press POWER to turn on (light illuminates). Select brew size. Press BREW to start cycle. Brewer turns off automatically after 90 seconds of inactivity.

Settings: Brew temperature is preset. Auto-off cannot be disabled. Use only Keurig branded K-Cup pods or reusable filter.

Brewing Coffee

Follow these steps for optimal brewing.

  1. Ensure brewer is on and heated (POWER light solid).
  2. Place mug on drip tray.
  3. Lift handle, insert K-Cup pod, close handle firmly.
  4. Select desired brew size (6oz, 8oz, 10oz).
  5. Press BREW button; cycle completes in under a minute.
  6. After brewing, lift handle to eject used pod into storage compartment.

Tip: For stronger coffee, use smaller brew size with same pod.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures performance and longevity.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash drip tray and water reservoir in warm soapy water.
  3. Monthly: Clean needle that pierces K-Cup using paperclip (unplug first).
  4. As needed: Empty used pod storage container.

WARNING! Unplug brewer before cleaning. Do not immerse in water.

Descaling

Descale every 3-6 months to remove mineral buildup.

  1. Purchase Keurig Descaling Solution or use vinegar solution (50/50 water and white vinegar).
  2. Fill reservoir with descaling solution.
  3. Run brew cycles without K-Cup until reservoir is empty.
  4. Rinse by filling reservoir with fresh water and running multiple brew cycles.
  5. Repeat rinse until vinegar smell is gone.

CAUTION! Descaling solution is acidic. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

Care Instructions

Unplug when not in use for extended periods. Store in dry place.

CAUTION! Do not use abrasive cleaners. Never operate without water in reservoir.
