Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a stable, level surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside the brewer.
  2. Wash the water reservoir with warm, soapy water; rinse thoroughly.
  3. Fill the reservoir with fresh water and place it onto the brewer.
  4. Plug the power cord into a 120V AC outlet.
  5. Prime the brewer before first use (see First-Time Use).

WARNING! Do not use the brewer without water. Ensure the brewer is unplugged during cleaning.

First-Time Use

Power on the brewer; follow priming steps.

  1. Press the POWER button to turn on the brewer.
  2. Lift and lower the brew handle without a K-Cup pod.
  3. Place a large mug (at least 10 oz) on the drip tray.
  4. Select the largest cup size and press BREW.
  5. Repeat the brewing cycle 2-3 times with fresh water to prime.
  6. After priming, the brewer is ready for use with K-Cup pods.

CAUTION! Use only recommended water; do not use distilled water.

Access settings via the digital display and control panel.

Control Panel: POWER, BREW, CUP SIZE (SMALL, MEDIUM, LARGE), BREW STRENGTH, HOT WATER, MENU/SETTINGS.

Settings: Program cup size, set brew strength (regular/strong), set auto-off time (2 hrs, 4 hrs, off), set clock, descale alert, factory reset.

Brewing Coffee

Use with most K-Cup pods.

  1. Press POWER to turn on the brewer; wait for READY light.
  2. Lift the brew handle and insert a K-Cup pod; close the handle.
  3. Place a mug on the drip tray.
  4. Select cup size (SMALL, MEDIUM, LARGE) and press BREW.
  5. Brewing begins; coffee dispenses into the mug.
  6. After brewing, lift the handle to eject the used pod.
  7. For hot water, press HOT WATER without a K-Cup.

Tip: Preheat your mug with hot water for hotter coffee.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance.

  1. Unplug the brewer and allow it to cool.
  2. Remove and wash the water reservoir, lid, and drip tray with warm, soapy water.
  3. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth; do not immerse in water.
  4. Clean the brew needle monthly: use a paper clip to clear any clogs (unplug first).
  5. Descale every 3-6 months or when the descale alert appears.

CAUTION! Never use vinegar to descale; use Keurig descaling solution or approved descaler.

Descaling Procedure

Descale when the alert appears or every 3-6 months.

  1. Fill the water reservoir with 48 oz of water and Keurig descaling solution.
  2. Place a large mug on the drip tray.
  3. Press MENU, navigate to DESCALING, and press OK.
  4. Follow on-screen prompts: brew until reservoir is empty.
  5. Refill the reservoir with fresh water and repeat brewing cycles to rinse.
  6. After rinsing, the descaling process is complete.

WARNING! Do not skip rinsing cycles; residual solution can affect taste.
