Step-by-Step Setup
- Unpack and Inspect: Remove all packaging materials and inspect the coffee maker for any visible damage.
- Place on Stable Surface: Place the brewer on a clean, flat, stable surface away from heat sources and water splashes.
- Initial Cleaning: Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Never immerse the brewer in water or other liquids.
- Water Reservoir Setup: Remove the water reservoir, fill with fresh cold water, and reattach securely.
- Power Connection: Plug the brewer into a grounded 120V, 60Hz outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
- Prime the Brewer: Run water through the brewer without a K-Cup pod to clean the internal lines (3-5 cycles).
- First Brew: Insert a K-Cup pod, place a mug on the drip tray, and brew your first cup.
