Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on clean, level, stable surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials from brewer and reservoir.
  2. Place drip tray in position; adjust plate if using tall mug.
  3. Insert water reservoir into back of brewer until it clicks.
  4. Plug power cord into grounded 120V outlet.

WARNING! Place away from heat sources and water splashes. Ensure drip tray is properly installed before use.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewing system before first brew.

  1. Fill reservoir with fresh cold water to MAX line.
  2. Power on brewer; wait for READY light.
  3. Place a large mug on drip tray (no K-Cup pod).
  4. Lift and close handle to pierce imaginary pod.
  5. Press 10 oz brew button; run water through system.
  6. Repeat process 2-3 times to prime.

CAUTION! Use only cold, fresh water. Do not use distilled or sparkling water.

Operation: Power on - POWER button lights. Ready to brew - READY light illuminated. Low water - ADD WATER light flashes red. Brewing - BREW button flashes during cycle.

Settings: Auto-off cannot be disabled. Cup size selection determines brew volume and time.

Brewing Coffee

Using K-Cup® pods for single-serve brewing.

  1. Ensure brewer is on and READY light is on.
  2. Place mug on drip tray.
  3. Lift handle; insert K-Cup pod into holder.
  4. Close handle firmly until it locks.
  5. Select cup size (6 oz, 8 oz, 10 oz).
  6. Press BREW button; cycle completes automatically.
  7. Lift handle to eject used pod into disposal area.

Tip: For stronger coffee, use 6 oz setting with regular K-Cup pod.

Maintenance & Descaling

Regular descaling prevents mineral buildup.

  1. Prepare solution: Mix Keurig Descaling Solution with full reservoir of water.
  2. Place large bowl on drip tray (remove drip tray plate).
  3. Power on; run brew cycles without K-Cup until reservoir is empty.
  4. Rinse: Fill reservoir with fresh water; run multiple brew cycles to rinse.
  5. Repeat rinse until all solution taste is gone.

Frequency: Descale every 3-6 months depending on water hardness.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Wipe exterior with damp cloth; clean reservoir with mild detergent.

Weekly: Remove and wash drip tray, reservoir, and K-Cup holder in warm soapy water.

CAUTION! Do not immerse brewer base in water. Never use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
