The Keurig B60 Special Edition is a single-serve coffee brewing system designed for home use. Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place brewer on a stable, level surface away from heat sources and water splashes.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside the brewer.
  2. Wash the water reservoir with warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and attach to the back of the brewer.
  3. Place the drip tray in position. Ensure it is pushed all the way back.
  4. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use the brewer without water in the reservoir. Ensure the brewer is unplugged during cleaning.

First-Time Use

Prime the system before first brew to ensure optimal performance.

  1. Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water to the MAX fill line.
  2. Place a large mug (at least 10 oz) on the drip tray.
  3. Power on the brewer. The display will light up.
  4. Lift and close the brewer handle without inserting a K-Cup® pod.
  5. Press the 10 oz brew button. The brewer will run water through the system. Discard this water.
  6. Repeat the priming process 2-3 times until the water runs clear.

CAUTION! The exterior surfaces may become hot during use. Handle with care.

Controls and Settings

Access settings via the control panel buttons and LCD display.

Control Panel: POWER, BREW, BREW SIZE, MENU/SELECT.

Settings Menu: Press and hold MENU/SELECT to enter. Use BREW SIZE to navigate.
- Clock Set: Set the current time.
- Auto-On: Program a time for the brewer to turn on and brew automatically (requires a K-Cup® to be loaded the night before).
- Auto-Off: Set to 2 hours (default) or disable.
- Brew Temperature: Adjust between 187°F - 192°F.
- Descale Alert: Reset after descaling is complete.

Brewing Coffee

Brew a perfect cup in under a minute.

  1. Ensure the brewer is powered on and the water reservoir is filled.
  2. Lift the handle to open the K-Cup® chamber.
  3. Insert a K-Cup® pod. Close the handle firmly.
  4. Place your mug on the drip tray.
  5. Select your desired brew size (6 oz, 8 oz, 10 oz) using the BREW SIZE button.
  6. Press the BREW button. The brewing cycle will begin and complete automatically.
  7. After brewing, lift the handle to eject the used K-Cup® pod.

Tip: For stronger coffee, use the 6 oz setting with a regular K-Cup® pod.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures great taste and longevity.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with a damp cloth. Empty and rinse the drip tray and water reservoir.
  2. Weekly: Clean the K-Cup® puncture needle. Unplug brewer, lift handle, and use a paper clip to gently clear any coffee grounds from the upper and lower needles.
  3. Monthly: Run a cleansing brew cycle using Keurig® Brewer Cleanser or a mixture of white vinegar and water (see Descaling).

WARNING! Never immerse the brewer base, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.

Descaling Procedure

The DESCALING light will illuminate when mineral buildup requires removal.

  1. Fill the water reservoir with 48 oz of white vinegar or Keurig® Descaling Solution.
  2. Place a large mug on the drip tray.
  3. Power on the brewer. Lift and close the handle without a K-Cup®.
  4. Press the 10 oz brew button. Brew 10 oz into the mug and discard. Repeat until the ADD WATER light comes on.
  5. Discard any remaining vinegar in the reservoir. Rinse thoroughly and fill with fresh water.
  6. Repeat the brewing process (without a K-Cup®) with fresh water until the reservoir is empty to rinse the system.
  7. Press and hold MENU/SELECT for 3 seconds to reset the descale indicator.

CAUTION! Descaling is essential. Failure to descale can lead to brewer failure not covered by warranty.

Troubleshooting
