Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on a clean, flat, stable surface near a power outlet.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside the brewer.
  2. Wash the water reservoir and drip tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  3. Place the drip tray in position. Insert the water reservoir into the back of the brewer.
  4. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use the brewer without water in the reservoir. Ensure the brewer is on a heat-resistant surface away from edges.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewing system before first use to ensure optimal performance.

  1. Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water up to the MAX line.
  2. Place a large mug (at least 10 oz) on the drip tray.
  3. Press the POWER button. The machine will begin heating.
  4. When the READY light illuminates, lift and close the brewer handle without inserting a K-Cup.
  5. Press the BREW button to run water through the system. Discard this water.
  6. Repeat this priming process 2-3 times to clear the system.

CAUTION! The exterior surfaces may become hot during use. Do not touch heated surfaces.

Operation: Press POWER to turn on. The machine heats (approx. 3 minutes). READY light illuminates when heated. Use SIZE SELECT to choose cup size (6 oz, 8 oz, 10 oz). Lift handle, insert K-Cup, close handle. Place cup on drip tray. Press BREW. The brewer will dispense the selected amount.

Settings: Auto-off cannot be disabled. Cup size selection is memorized for next brew. The ADD WATER light will flash when the reservoir is low. The DESCALING light will illuminate when mineral buildup requires cleaning.

Brewing Coffee

Follow these steps for optimal coffee brewing.

  1. Ensure brewer is on and READY light is illuminated.
  2. Fill water reservoir if needed.
  3. Lift the brewer handle fully.
  4. Insert a K-Cup pod into the K-Cup holder.
  5. Close the handle firmly.
  6. Place your cup or mug on the drip tray.
  7. Press the SIZE SELECT button to choose your desired brew size (6 oz, 8 oz, 10 oz).
  8. Press the BREW button. Brewing will begin and complete automatically.
  9. After brewing, lift the handle to eject the used K-Cup pod into the storage compartment.

Tip: For stronger coffee, select a smaller brew size (e.g., 6 oz) for one K-Cup pod.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures best performance and longevity.

Daily: Wipe exterior with a damp, soft cloth. Empty and rinse the drip tray and K-Cup holder.

Weekly: Remove and wash the water reservoir and lid in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly. Wipe the brew chamber with a damp cloth.

Monthly: Run a cleansing brew cycle using only water (no K-Cup) to flush the system.

CAUTION! Unplug the brewer before cleaning. Do not immerse the brewer base, cord, or plug in water or any liquid. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.

Descaling Procedure

Descale when the DESCALING indicator light turns on, or every 3-6 months depending on water hardness.

  1. Purchase Keurig Descaling Solution or use a mixture of white vinegar and water (1:1 ratio).
  2. Ensure brewer is off. Fill the empty water reservoir with the descaling solution.
  3. Place a large mug (at least 10 oz) on the drip tray.
  4. Press POWER. Lift and close the handle without a K-Cup.
  5. Press BREW. Dispense half the reservoir into the mug and discard. Wait 30 minutes.
  6. Dispense the remaining solution and discard.
  7. Rinse the reservoir thoroughly with fresh water and refill.
  8. Run multiple brew cycles (without a K-Cup) using only fresh water until the vinegar odor is gone.

WARNING! Descaling solution/vinegar is not for consumption. Ensure thorough rinsing.

Troubleshooting
