Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on clean, level surface away from heat sources.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside the brewer.
  2. Wash removable parts: Clean water reservoir and drip tray with warm, soapy water.
  3. Fill water reservoir: Lift off, fill with fresh cold water, replace securely.
  4. Plug into grounded 120V AC outlet.
  5. Prime the brewer: Follow first-time use instructions to flush system.

WARNING! Do not use without water in reservoir. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.

First-Time Use

Power on brewer; follow priming procedure.

  1. Prime the system: Place large mug on drip tray, lift and close handle without K-Cup, select largest cup size, brew until reservoir is empty.
  2. Refill reservoir: Fill with fresh cold water.
  3. Insert K-Cup: Lift handle, place K-Cup pod in holder, close handle firmly.
  4. Select cup size: Choose desired brew size (4, 6, 8, or 10 oz).
  5. Start brewing: Press brew button; brewing completes automatically.

CAUTION! Water and brewed coffee are hot. Handle with care to avoid burns.

Settings Menu: Access via Menu button - Auto on/off, Brew temperature, Display brightness, Factory reset.

Strength Control: Press Strength button to toggle between STRONG and REGULAR brew settings. Programmable: Set preferred brew time (0-4 hours delay) and auto off timing. Hot Water: Dispense hot water without K-Cup by pressing Hot Water button.

Brewing Coffee

Brew single cups using K-Cup pods.

  1. Ensure water reservoir is filled with fresh cold water.
  2. Place mug on drip tray (minimum 5 oz capacity).
  3. Lift handle, insert K-Cup pod, close handle firmly.
  4. Select desired cup size (4, 6, 8, or 10 oz).
  5. Optional: Press Strength button for stronger brew.
  6. Press Brew button; brewing begins immediately.
  7. Remove mug when brewing completes.
  8. Discard used K-Cup pod after each brew.

Tip: For best results, use filtered water and clean brewer regularly.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and coffee flavor.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth; empty drip tray and used pod holder.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash water reservoir, drip tray, and funnel in warm, soapy water.
  3. Monthly: Clean needle that punctures K-Cup pods using paper clip (unplug first).
  4. As needed: Descale when indicator light illuminates (see Descaling section).

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning. Never immerse brewer in water.

Descaling Process

Descaling removes mineral buildup; perform when descale light illuminates.

  1. Purchase Keurig descaling solution or use vinegar solution.
  2. Empty water reservoir and fill with descaling solution.
  3. Place large mug (at least 10 oz) on drip tray.
  4. Run brew cycles without K-Cup until reservoir is empty.
  5. Let solution sit in brewer for 30 minutes.
  6. Rinse thoroughly: Fill reservoir with fresh water, run multiple brew cycles.
  7. Repeat rinse until vinegar odor disappears.
