Setup Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Clean cloth
  • Vinegar or descaling solution
  • Paper clip (for needle cleaning)
  • Measuring cup
  • Fresh water

Step-by-Step Initial Setup

  1. Unpack and Place: Remove all packaging materials. Place brewer on a flat, stable surface away from heat sources.
  2. Water Reservoir: Fill reservoir with fresh, cold water. Do not use distilled or sparkling water.
  3. Power Connection: Plug into a properly grounded 120V outlet. Ensure power switch is in OFF position.
  4. Initial Rinse: Perform initial rinse cycle without a K-Cup pod to clean internal lines.
  5. Prime Brewer: Run several brew cycles with just water to prime the pump and remove air bubbles.
  6. Descaling Setup: Note descaling schedule (every 3-6 months depending on usage).
  7. Test Brew: Insert a K-Cup pod and run a complete brew cycle to verify proper operation.
Warning: Always use genuine Keurig® K-Cup® pods. Third-party pods may cause damage not covered by warranty.

Troubleshooting
