Step-by-Step Initial Setup
- Unpack and Place: Remove all packaging materials. Place brewer on a flat, stable surface away from heat sources.
- Water Reservoir: Fill reservoir with fresh, cold water. Do not use distilled or sparkling water.
- Power Connection: Plug into a properly grounded 120V outlet. Ensure power switch is in OFF position.
- Initial Rinse: Perform initial rinse cycle without a K-Cup pod to clean internal lines.
- Prime Brewer: Run several brew cycles with just water to prime the pump and remove air bubbles.
- Descaling Setup: Note descaling schedule (every 3-6 months depending on usage).
- Test Brew: Insert a K-Cup pod and run a complete brew cycle to verify proper operation.
