Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials and stickers.
  2. Wash removable parts: Reservoir, drip tray, and K-Cup holder with warm soapy water.
  3. Place brewer on counter away from edges, cabinets, and heat sources.
  4. Fill reservoir with fresh cold water and insert into brewer.
  5. Plug into 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Ensure drip tray is in place before brewing.

First-Time Use

Power on brewer; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Initial Setup: Touch screen to begin. Select language (ENGLISH default).
  2. Prime Brewing System: Brewer will run water through system (no pod). Discard first brew.
  3. Set Preferences: Program auto on/off time, default cup size, and temperature.
  4. Insert Pod: Lift handle, place K-Cup or K-Carafe pod in holder, close firmly.
  5. Brew: Select cup size on screen and press BREW.

CAUTION! Do not touch hot surfaces during or immediately after brewing.

Energy Saver: Enable/disable power save.

Brewing Guide

Supports K-Cup pods (single serve) and K-Carafe pods (multi-serve).

  1. Lift handle to open pod holder.
  2. Insert compatible pod (K-Cup or K-Carafe).
  3. Close handle firmly until it clicks.
  4. Place cup or carafe on drip tray.
  5. On touch screen, select brew size and any options (strength, temp).
  6. Press BREW button to start.
  7. Brewing completes automatically; remove beverage.
  8. Eject used pod by lifting handle.

Tip: Use filtered water for better taste and to reduce mineral buildup.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth. Weekly: Clean water reservoir, drip tray, and pod holder.

  1. Unplug brewer and let cool.
  2. Remove and wash reservoir, drip tray, and funnel with warm soapy water.
  3. Rinse thoroughly and dry before reassembling.
  4. Wipe touch screen with soft, dry cloth.
  5. Check needle for clogs; use paperclip to clear if needed (unplug first).

CAUTION! Do not immerse brewer in water. Never use abrasive cleaners.

Descaling

Descale alert appears when mineral buildup is detected.

  1. Purchase Keurig Descaling Solution or use vinegar solution.
  2. Fill reservoir with descaling solution and water (50/50 mix).
  3. Place large cup on drip tray.
  4. Enter Descaling mode via touch screen (Settings > Descaling).
  5. Follow on-screen prompts to brew multiple cycles until reservoir empty.
  6. Rinse reservoir, refill with fresh water, and run several brew cycles to flush.

WARNING! Descaling solution is acidic; avoid contact with skin and eyes.
