Initial Setup & Installation

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place brewer on a stable, level, and dry surface away from heat sources and sinks.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and stickers from inside and outside the brewer.
  2. Wash the removable water reservoir and drip tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry.
  3. Place the drip tray in position. Ensure the adjustable drip plate is set to the correct height for your mug.
  4. Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water and place it securely on the brewer.
  5. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use the brewer without water. Do not place on a hot surface or submerge in water.

First-Time Use

Power on the brewer; the display will light up. Perform an initial water flush before first brew.

  1. With the water reservoir filled, lift and close the brewer handle without inserting a K-Cup pod.
  2. Place a large mug (at least 12 oz.) on the drip tray.
  3. Select the largest brew size (e.g., 12 oz.) and press the BREW button. The brewer will run water through the system.
  4. Discard this water. Repeat the flushing process 2-3 times to prime the system.
  5. Your brewer is now ready for its first beverage.

CAUTION! The water and brewed beverage will be very hot. Handle with care.

Controls and Settings

Access settings via the touchscreen buttons on the digital display.

Primary Buttons: POWER, BREW, STRENGTH, AUTO ON/OFF, MENU.

Display Icons: Brew size, Clock, Strength, Add Water, Preheat, Descaling, Auto On/Off.

Menu Settings: Clock Set, Auto Off (2 hrs/5 mins/Off), High Altitude (On/Off), Hot Water on Demand, Factory Reset, Descaling Mode.

Brewing: Select brew size by touching the cup size icon. Press STRENGTH to toggle between Regular and Strong.

Brewing Your Beverage

Brews coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and other beverages using licensed K-Cup pods.

  1. Ensure the brewer is on and the water reservoir is filled.
  2. Lift the handle to open the K-Cup pod chamber.
  3. Insert a K-Cup pod. The brewer will read the packaging and suggest a brew size.
  4. Close the handle firmly.
  5. Place your mug on the drip tray.
  6. Select your desired brew size (or use the pod-suggested size).
  7. Press the BREW button. Brewing will begin and a progress bar will display.
  8. When brewing is complete, carefully remove your hot mug.
  9. Lift the handle to eject the used pod into the storage drawer.

Tip: For a stronger brew, select the STRENGTH button or choose a smaller brew size.

Maintenance & Descaling

Regular descaling is essential to maintain performance and longevity. The DESCALE light will illuminate when required.

  1. Prepare a descaling solution as directed (use Keurig Descaling Solution or approved vinegar mixture).
  2. Fill the empty water reservoir with the descaling solution.
  3. Place a large mug or container (at least 24 oz.) on the drip tray.
  4. Enter Descaling Mode: Press MENU, scroll to DESCALE, and press OK.
  5. Follow the on-screen prompts to run multiple brew cycles without a pod until the reservoir is empty.
  6. Rinse thoroughly: Fill the reservoir with fresh water and run several brew cycles to flush the system.
  7. Exit Descaling Mode when prompted.

WARNING! Descaling solution is acidic. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Rinse thoroughly.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug brewer before cleaning external surfaces. Wipe exterior with a damp, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.

Weekly Cleaning: Remove and wash the water reservoir, drip tray, and pod holder in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly before replacing.

CAUTION! Never use sharp objects to clean the needle that pierces the K-Cup pod.

Troubleshooting
