Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Place on a stable, level surface near a power outlet and water source.

  1. Remove packaging materials and stickers from the brewer and water reservoir.
  2. Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water and insert it into the brewer.
  3. Plug the power cord into a 120V AC outlet.
  4. Prime the brewer: Turn on, and without a pod, run a water-only brew cycle into a cup.
  5. Install the drip tray and cup stand.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Ensure the brewer is on a heat-resistant surface away from edges.

First-Time Use

Power on the brewer; the display will guide you through initial setup.

  1. Select language: Choose ENGLISH (default) or other available options.
  2. Set the time: Use the touch display to set the current time for programmable features.
  3. Prime the system: Brew a water-only cycle to clear any air from the lines.
  4. Insert a K-Cup or K-Carafe pod, select your brew size, and start your first brew.

CAUTION! The brewer and water will be hot during and after brewing. Avoid contact with hot surfaces.

Access all functions via the digital touch display. Physical buttons: POWER, BREW, HOT WATER.

Display Menu: Brew Size Selection, Strength Control, Programmable Timer, Settings Menu, Descaling Mode.

Brew Settings: Select cup or carafe size, adjust strength (Strong on/off). Programmable: Set auto-on time for daily brewing. Settings: Language, display brightness, temperature control (adjustable in some models), water filter reminder. Maintenance: Access descaling mode, reset filter indicator.

Brewing Instructions

For K-Cup pods (single serve) and K-Carafe pods (multiple cups).

  1. Lift the handle and insert a compatible pod. Close the handle firmly.
  2. Place a mug (up to 7 inches tall) or carafe on the drip tray.
  3. On the display, select your brew size (e.g., 8 oz, 12 oz, or carafe).
  4. Optional: Press STRENGTH for a bolder brew.
  5. Press the BREW button. The cycle will start and complete automatically.
  6. For hot water only (e.g., tea), press the HOT WATER button after preheating.

Tip: Use filtered water for better taste and to reduce mineral buildup.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with a damp cloth; empty and rinse the drip tray.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash the water reservoir with mild soap; rinse thoroughly.
  3. Monthly: Clean the pod holder assembly: lift handle, remove funnel, and wash with warm, soapy water.
  4. As needed: Descale when the indicator light appears (see Descaling Procedure).

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning. Do not immerse the brewer in water or use abrasive cleaners.

Descaling Procedure

Descaling removes mineral deposits from internal components. Perform when the descale alert appears.

  1. Purchase Keurig Descaling Solution or approved white vinegar.
  2. Fill the water reservoir with descaling solution or a mix of vinegar and water (as per instructions).
  3. Place a large mug or container on the drip tray.
  4. Enter Descaling Mode via Settings on the display.
  5. Follow on-screen prompts to run multiple brew cycles until the reservoir is empty.
  6. Rinse thoroughly by running several cycles with fresh water only.

WARNING! Do not skip rinsing cycles. Residual descaling solution can affect taste.
