  2. Wash the water reservoir and lid with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Place the drip tray in position. Insert the water reservoir into the back of the brewer.
  4. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.
  5. Fill the reservoir with fresh, cold water up to the MAX fill line.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Ensure brewer is on a stable, level surface to prevent tipping.

First-Time Use

Power on the brewer; follow on-screen prompts to prime the system.

  1. Press the POWER button. The touch screen will illuminate.
  2. The brewer will prompt you to "PRIME BREWER." Place a large mug (at least 10 oz.) on the drip tray.

  4. After priming, the brewer is ready for its first brew.
  5. Set your preferences: Use the SETTINGS menu to program auto on/off time, brew temperature, and strength.

CAUTION! The first few brews may produce hot water or steam. Keep hands and face clear.
