Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a clean, level, and stable surface.

Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside the brewer.
Wash the water reservoir and drip tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Place the drip tray in position.
Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water and reattach it to the brewer.
Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use the brewer without water in the reservoir. Ensure the brewer is unplugged during cleaning.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewer before first use to ensure optimal performance.

Ensure the water reservoir is filled and properly seated.
Plug in the brewer. The power light will illuminate.
Press the POWER button to turn the brewer on. The heating light will turn on.
Without a K-Cup pod, place a mug on the drip tray and press the largest brew size button (10oz) to run water through the system. Discard this water.
Repeat the priming process once more. The brewer is now ready for use.

CAUTION! The exterior may become hot during use. Keep hands away from the brew head and exit needle.

Controls and Settings

Front Panel: POWER button, Brew Size buttons (6oz, 8oz, 10oz), Descaling Indicator Light.

Operation: Press POWER to turn on (heating light illuminates). When ready light is solid, select brew size. The brewer will automatically start the brew cycle.

Brew Size Selection: Choose based on desired coffee strength. Smaller sizes produce stronger coffee.

Descaling Alert: The descaling light will flash when mineral buildup requires cleaning. Refer to the Descaling section.

Brewing Coffee

Follow these steps for a perfect cup every time.

Ensure the brewer is on and the "Ready" light is solid.
Lift the handle to open the K-Cup pod holder.
Place a K-Cup pod into the holder. Close the handle firmly.
Place a mug (up to 7 inches tall) on the drip tray.
Press the desired brew size button (6oz, 8oz, 10oz). The brew will begin.
When brewing is complete, lift the handle to eject the used pod into the storage compartment (if equipped) or discard it manually.

Tip: For hotter coffee, run a water-only brew cycle to preheat your mug before brewing.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures great taste and extends brewer life.

Daily: Wipe exterior with a damp cloth. Empty and rinse the drip tray.
Weekly: Remove and wash the water reservoir and drip tray in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
Monthly: Clean the K-Cup pod holder and exit needle. Unplug brewer, lift handle, and use a paperclip to gently clear any coffee grounds from the exit needle.
As Needed: Descale when the indicator light flashes (approximately every 3-6 months).

CAUTION! Never immerse the brewer base, cord, or plug in water or any liquid. Unplug before any cleaning.

Descaling

Mineral buildup from water can affect performance. The descaling light will flash when required.

Purchase Keurig Descaling Solution or use a vinegar solution (mix equal parts white vinegar and water).
Fill the water reservoir with the descaling solution.
Place a large mug on the drip tray.
Press POWER to turn on. Without a K-Cup, press the 10oz brew button repeatedly until the "Add Water" light comes on.
Discard the solution from the mug. Refill the reservoir with fresh water.
Press the 10oz brew button repeatedly to rinse the system. Continue until the reservoir is empty. Repeat the rinse cycle with another full reservoir of fresh water.
The descaling light will turn off when the process is complete.

WARNING! Do not use descaling agents other than those recommended by Keurig.

Troubleshooting

Symptom	Possible Cause	Corrective Action
Brewer won't turn on	No power	Ensure cord is plugged in; check outlet; press POWER button.
No water flow / small cup	Clogged exit needle	Unplug, lift handle, use paperclip to clear exit needle.

Coffee is not hot	Cold mug / needs priming	Preheat mug with hot water; ensure brewer is fully heated before brewing.

Brewer turns off during cycle	Auto-off feature / overheating	This is normal after 90 sec inactivity. If overheating, unplug, let cool for 1 hour.

Reset: Unplug brewer for 2 minutes, then plug back in.
